This Position reports to:

Role Summary:

Leading a global team of indirect tax professionals, you will foster cohesion and demonstrate operational leadership. You will be working with Global Tax Process Office, Global Tax Operations Lead, and Indirect Tax Practice team to drive operational excellence, incl. standardization, automation and simplification initiatives. You will manage outsourcing service provider relationships, evaluate service options, and determine best insourcing and outsourcing solutions.

This role will report to the Global Tax Operations Lead, the role is based in Bengaluru, India.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Strategic Leadership - Drive rollout of the Tax Operations model, transforming Indirect Tax into a processcentric, globally aligned organization.

• Global Alignment - Ensure Indirect Tax Operations are consistent with CFTA vision, policies, and the Tax GPO Digital Strategy.

• Innovation & Automation - Lead AI and automation initiatives to simplify processes, enhance accuracy, and support digital transformation.

• Collaboration - Build strong partnerships with Indirect Tax Practice and Tax GPO teams to align operations with global tax process goals.

• Process Excellence - Implement standardized global processes, ensure compliance, and harmonize countryspecific deviations.

• Resource & Compliance Management - Oversee budgeting, resource allocation, and external provider contracts to optimize compliance and cost efficiency.

• Talent Development - Champion diversity, inclusion, and mentoring, fostering growth and collaboration across global Indirect Tax teams.

Qualifications for the role:

• Minimum 10 years of experience in Finance / Tax positions, with at least 3 years in a cross-jurisdiction people management role.

• Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to coach, inspire, and develop cross-country teams.

• Master's degree in finance, accounting, business administration, or management.

• Proven expertise in managing projects across multiple countries is necessary.

• Excellent communicator with strong English, proven ability to influence stakeholders at all levels, advanced analytical and solutionoriented mindset, adaptable to change with agility and perseverance, and capable of working independently in fastpaced environments.
