Global Head of SAP Delivery Services

  • Location: India – (Mumbai, Delhi, Pune, Hyderabad, Noida)

Role Overview

The Global Head of SAP Delivery Services is the executive leader responsible for shaping, scaling, and governing the end‑to‑end delivery of all offshore SAP services for all regions. This role oversees global delivery strategy, solution excellence, delivery governance, resource levels, availability, deployment management and ongoing customer support and successes.

You will lead a multi‑disciplinary, Multi -Region organisation of Functional consultants, architects, offshore/onshore delivery teams, Analytics, Development and Testing practices, ensuring consistent, high‑quality outcomes across S/4HANA transformations, ECC migrations, AMS, and industry‑specific SAP solutions, including Tax and Revenue Management. The ideal candidate will be able to show a total commitment to quality using leading edge tooling and methods and to be obsessed with quality.

This is a pivotal role for a consulting organisation seeking to expand its SAP footprint, strengthen delivery capability, and drive profitable growth.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership

  • Contribute to the definition and execution of the global SAP delivery strategy aligned to corporate goals and market demand.
  • Build and evolve a scalable and flexible global delivery model (onshore, nearshore, offshore).
  • Drive innovation across SAP offerings, including S/4HANA, RISE with SAP, BTP, and industry cloud solutions alongside all the evolving tooling around AI.
  • Partner with executive leadership to shape go‑to‑market strategy and solution portfolio.

Delivery Excellence & Governance

  • Establish and enforce global delivery standards, methodologies, and quality frameworks with the appropriate tooling
  • Oversee delivery of all SAP service lines and initiatives, ensuring they meet scope, budget, timeline, and quality expectations.
  • Implement robust risk management, escalation, and remediation processes.
  • Champion continuous improvement, automation, and delivery efficiency.

Commercial & Financial Management

  • Drive utilisation, margin optimisation, and cost efficiency across delivery teams.
  • Support pre‑sales with solutioning, estimation, and proposal governance.
  • Build commercial models that scale with global demand.

People Leadership

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a global team of Practice Leaders, SAP delivery leaders, architects, and consultants.
  • Shape workforce strategy, including hiring, skills development, and succession planning.
  • Foster a culture of excellence, accountability, and collaboration across regions.

Client & Stakeholder Engagement

  • Represent the Delivery Function as a member of the Senior Leadership team with regular quarterly attendance at board meetings.
  • Maintain senior direct relationships with major SAP programmes and strategic accounts.
  • Build trusted relationships with C‑suite stakeholders, SAP leadership, and ecosystem partners.
  • Ensure high levels of client satisfaction and long‑term account growth.
  • Build a highly motivated and committed workforce currently close to 700 employees
  • Key member of the Indian Leadership team

Required Experience & Qualifications

Core Experience

  • 15+ years in SAP consulting, with at least 8 years in senior global delivery leadership roles.
  • Proven track record delivering mid -large‑scale SAP delivery services and supporting functions (including S/4HANA) often with large scale development elements and on a fixed price basis
  • Experience managing global delivery centres and distributed teams.
  • Strong understanding of SAP's product roadmap, RISE with SAP, BTP, and cloud transformation models.

Leadership & Business Skills

  • Executive‑level communication and stakeholder management.
  • Strong commercial acumen with utilisation optimisation experience.
  • Ability to influence at board level and drive organisational change.
  • Demonstrated success building high‑performing teams with delivery excellence at their core.

Technical & Methodological Knowledge

  • Deep understanding of SAP solution architecture and integration.
  • Familiarity with Agile, hybrid, and traditional delivery methodologies.
  • Knowledge of industry‑specific SAP solutions is a plus.
  • SAP certifications (S/4HANA, Activate, etc.) beneficial but not mandatory.
