Job Purpose
We are seeking a Global Cloud Operations Administrator – L1 to support and manage enterprise cloud platforms across Azure and AWS environments.
This position combines Cloud Operations Administration with Incident Commander L1 level, making the role critical to platform stability, service restoration, and operational excellence.

This role is best suited for early-career cloud professionals who are passionate about operations, reliability engineering fundamentals, and learning enterprise-scale cloud environments. Candidates seeking primarily architecture or advanced engineering roles may find this position misaligned with their expectations.
Responsibilities
Cloud Operations & Platform Support
- Operate and monitor Azure and AWS infrastructure using enterprise monitoring platforms (Azure Monitor, CloudWatch, Grafana, PagerDuty).
- Perform L1 operational support for compute, storage, networking, cloud data services, IAM, and security components.
- Execute provisioning, deployments, patching, upgrades, and routine maintenance activities.
- Support private-to-public cloud migration activities and platform upgrades.
- Participate in Disaster Recovery drills, backup validations, and recovery exercises.
Incident Management & Incident Command (L1)
- Act as L1 Incident Commander during production incidents:
- Own initial triage
- Coordinate bridge calls
- Drive communication updates
- Ensure timely service restoration
- Classify incidents based on impact and urgency and manage them strictly within defined SLAs.
- Perform first-level troubleshooting using runbooks and operational SOPs.
- Escalate to L2/L3 teams with complete technical context and timelines.
- Track incidents end-to-end until closure, ensuring proper documentation and handover.
- Support Root Cause Analysis (RCA) by providing logs, timelines, and operational insights.
- Identify recurring issues and recommend preventive automation or process improvements.
Automation & Runbook Execution
- Execute and enhance operational runbooks using PowerShell, Python, or Bash.
- Support automation workflows for monitoring, provisioning, deployments, and break-fix activities.
- Identify repetitive manual tasks and propose automation opportunities.
- Maintain documentation for scripts, procedures, and incident response playbooks.
SLA Governance & Service Delivery
- Execute service requests and change activities within defined SLA and TAT.
- Maintain strict operational discipline aligned with ITIL practices (Incident, Change, Problem).
- Support capacity management, cost optimization, billing/showback activities in collaboration with Service Delivery Managers.
- Monitor resource utilization and platform health to ensure operational continuity.
- And other duties as assigned.
Required Technical Skills
- Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure (Must)
- Strong hands-on experience with AWS Administration (Must)
- Scripting & automation exposure (PowerShell / Python / Bash)
- Experience with monitoring tools (Azure Monitor, CloudWatch, PagerDuty, Grafana)
- Understanding of Cloud Infrastructure (compute, storage, networking, identity)
- Knowledge of Cloud Data Services
- Exposure to DevOps fundamentals and CI/CD pipelines
- Experience in provisioning, deployments, break-fix, patching, and maintenance
- Clear understanding of SLA-driven operations and incident prioritization
- Awareness of Cloud Security best practices and CSPM concepts
Eligibility Requirements (Strict)
- Min 1 and Maximum 2 years of relevant Cloud Operations experience
- Permanent resident of Pune only
- Willing to work in 24x7 rotational shifts
- 15 years of full-time education with no gaps in education or employment
- Legally authorized to work in India

- AWS Database Migration Service (DMS)
- Infrastructure as Code (Terraform / CloudFormation / Bicep)
- GitLab or Azure DevOps
- Cost management tools (Azure Cost Management, CloudHealth)
- Firewall fundamentals, KQL knowledge
