For a category leader, this means going beyond listing management — you will shape assortment strategy, pricing intelligence, marketplace visibility, and global revenue acceleration across multiple countries.
The Role:
We are looking for a Category Manager – Global to own category growth, pricing strategy, assortment decisions, and marketplace performance across international e-commerce platforms.
This is a high-impact role for someone who constantly asks:
- Which SKUs should we scale in the US vs UK
- Where are we losing visibility against competitors
- Which pricing moves improve contribution margins without hurting velocity
- What new assortment opportunities can unlock revenue in international markets
You will work closely with marketing, supply chain, operations, finance, and marketplace teams, using data to drive growth decisions that directly impact sales, profitability, and market share.
The immediate priorities are clear:
grow revenue, improve category margins, optimize listing visibility, and unlock expansion opportunities across global marketplaces.
What You'll Do:
1.Category Growth & Revenue Ownership:
- Own end-to-end category P&L, revenue growth, and profitability across global marketplaces
- Build and execute category strategies to maximize GMV, contribution margin, and market share
- Drive assortment expansion, SKU prioritization, and international product lifecycle decisions
- Identify whitespace opportunities across geographies and marketplaces
2.Pricing, Promotions & Competitive Intelligence:
- Develop dynamic pricing strategies based on demand, competition, and contribution margins
- Plan and execute promotional calendars, deals, seasonal campaigns, and discount structures
- Conduct regular competitor benchmarking and market trend analysis
- Drive visibility through pricing hygiene and promotional readiness
3.Listing, Catalog & Marketplace Optimization:
- Manage listing quality, SEO, keyword optimization, and A+ content execution
- Improve discoverability and conversion through catalog optimization and content enhancements
- Ensure marketplace compliance across Amazon Global, Walmart, eBay, and similar platforms
- Improve product ranking, search visibility, and conversion metrics
4.Demand Forecasting & Inventory Planning:
- Partner with supply chain and operations teams on demand forecasting, replenishment, and stock planning
- Ensure high in-stock rates for top-performing SKUs
- Prevent lost sales through proactive inventory and assortment planning
5.Data, Reporting & Business Reviews:
- Build dashboards and category scorecards using Excel, pivot tables, lookups, and reporting tools
- Track KPIs including sales, conversion, ROAS, contribution margin, stock cover, and pricing competitiveness
- Present weekly business reviews with actionable insights and growth recommendations
- Use data to identify underperforming SKUs and corrective opportunities
What We're Looking For:
- 4–6 years of experience in category management, marketplace growth, or e-commerce business operations
- Strong hands-on experience managing Amazon Global, Walmart, eBay, or international marketplaces
- Strong Excel skills including VLOOKUP, HLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, advanced formulas, and data analysis
- Deep understanding of pricing strategy, assortment planning, listing optimization, and category analytics
- Strong commercial acumen with the ability to balance growth and profitability
- Excellent cross-functional collaboration and stakeholder management skills
- High ownership mindset with speed, accuracy, and execution discipline
Stands Out:
- Experience in international marketplace expansion
- Exposure to cross-border e-commerce and global pricing frameworks
- Strong understanding of SEO, A+ content, and conversion optimization
- Comfort using AI tools and automation for category insights and reporting
- MBA or business degree preferred
