ABOUT THE ROLE
Graystone Capital is seeking a detail-oriented and commercially aware Internal Finance Executive to join our India office. This is a critical finance operations role with global scope, responsible for managing the firm's internal accounts and end-to-end billing across all international markets. The successful candidate will report directly to senior leadership and work closely with teams across the UAE, India, and other operating jurisdictions.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage and maintain all internal accounts across global operations, ensuring accurate data entry, timely reconciliation and immaculate record keeping.
- Own and execute the global billing process including invoice preparation, issuance, tracking payments, and following up on outstanding receivables across all markets
- Maintain and update financial records in accordance with accounting industry standards and applicable regulations in addition to audit and compliance purposes.
- Handle VAT computation, filing, and compliance across applicable jurisdictions including UAE/KSA/Bahrain/Oman VAT regulations
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial summaries and management reports for senior leadership review
- Liaise with external auditors, tax consultants, and banking counterparts as required
- Management of accounts payable and receivable, ensuring healthy cash flow visibility at all times
- Coordinate with the internal teams to ensure accurate billing inputs and documentation alignment for mandate-related billing and engagement fee invoicing
- Identify and flag any financial discrepancies or compliance gaps, proposing corrective measures promptly
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline; CA / CPA / ACCA qualification is an advantage
- 2–4 years of relevant experience in finance, accounting, or billing operations, preferably within a financial service, advisory, or professional services environment
- Strong working knowledge of VAT regulations, particularly UAE VAT; exposure to multi-jurisdiction tax environments is preferred
- Proficiency in accounting software (Tally, Zoho Books, QuickBooks, or equivalent) and Microsoft Excel
- High attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
- Ability to work independently and take full ownership of the finance function with minimal supervision
