Job Summary:

The GIS Trainee will assist in supporting and implementing GIS-related projects, data management, and spatial analysis. The role involves learning and gaining hands-on experience in GIS software, data collection, map design, and spatial data analysis while contributing to ongoing GIS projects.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in the collection, validation, and organization of spatial and non-spatial data.
Perform data analysis using GIS software (e.g., ArcGIS, QGIS).
Support in creating and updating digital maps, layouts, and other geographic data visualizations.
Assist in data entry, digitization, and conversion tasks.
Perform basic spatial analysis and generate reports for internal or client use.
Help manage and maintain GIS databases.
