GIS Mapping Specialist

We are seeking a skilled GIS Mapping Specialist to join our team in India. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating and managing GIS maps, conducting spatial analyses, and collaborating with various teams to support data-driven decision making.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain high-quality GIS maps and spatial databases.
• Conduct spatial analysis and data interpretation to support project needs.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to gather and integrate spatial data.
• Prepare and present GIS reports, maps, and visualizations to stakeholders.
• Manage and update GIS data to ensure accuracy and relevance.

Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Geography, Geomatics, Environmental Science, or a related field.
• 2-5 years of experience in GIS mapping and spatial analysis.
• Proficiency in GIS software such as ArcGIS, QGIS, or similar tools.
• Strong knowledge of cartography principles and geospatial data standards.
• Experience with database management systems and spatial databases (e.g., PostGIS, SQL).
• Familiarity with remote sensing technologies and techniques.
• Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
