Job Title: GHG Emissions Inventory Consultant

Ideally, this role will be based in Bangalore, India., shift – 1 PM to 10:30 PM

In This Role, You Will:
- Deliver consulting engagements focused on sustainability strategy, GHG emissions calculations, regulatory and voluntary reporting, performance analytics, impact assessments, and sustainability business transformations
- Assist clients with carbon measurement and disclosures, including product carbon footprinting where applicable
- Support clients in preparing for third‑party audits of their GHG emissions inventories.
- Support client in ensuring audit-ready, decision-grade GHG data through strong data governance, validation and analytics
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to understand, refine, and document client business and system requirements related to GHG emissions calculation and reporting
- Support testing and validation of GHG calculation methodologies and reporting logic following system enhancements or regulatory changes
- Work directly with clients to define, validate, and confirm business, technical, and information system requirements
- Participate across the full project lifecycle for GHG information system implementations and enhancements, including:
- Requirements definition
- Configuration and reuse of calculation templates
- System and user acceptance testing
- Training and change enablement activities
- Support and enhance GHG software platforms such as Cority EMS/Enviance, Enablon, and Sphera
- Assist in the design and development of custom reports, dashboards, and analytics for GHG emissions and sustainability performance
Qualifications & Experience:
- Experience across one or more of the following areas:
- Greenhouse Gas (GHG) emissions inventory calculations (Scope 1, Scope 2, Scope 3)
- Greenhouse Gas (GHG) emissions inventory reporting
- Application of recognized ESG and sustainability frameworks and standards, such as ISSB/IFRS S1 & S2, SASB, TCFD, GRI, or similar
- 5–7 years of hands‑on experience in GHG emissions calculation and reporting
- Experience in the Oil & Gas industry is highly desirable; relevant experience in other asset‑intensive industries will also be considered
- Experience working with EHS and Sustainability software platforms for GHG calculation and reporting, such as:
- Cority EMS / Enviance
- Enablon
- Sphera
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel
- Experience with SQL or query‑based data extraction and analysis
- Exposure to Power BI and Power Apps is a plus
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast‑paced consulting environment
- Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills
