Role Description
This is a full-time remote role for a German Language Faculty member. The role involves teaching German language courses to healthcare professionals, preparing and delivering engaging lessons, and helping students achieve their language proficiency goals. Additional responsibilities include designing curriculum plans, monitoring student progress, providing feedback to improve proficiency, and assisting students with language exam preparation and cultural integration guidance.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in both written and spoken German, with a deep understanding of grammar and language instruction methodologies
- Experience in curriculum design, lesson planning, and teaching language courses
- Ability to use digital tools for remote teaching and facilitate interactive virtual learning
- Excellent communication skills and a strong ability to mentor and motivate students
- Prior experience in teaching German to healthcare professionals or preparing students for language certification exams is an advantage
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in German Language, Education, Linguistics, or a related field
- Certification in teaching German as a foreign language (e.g., Goethe-Institut certifications, TELC, etc.) is preferred
