Job Title: German GAAP (HGB) Accountant

Role Summary
We are seeking an experienced Senior Accountant German GAAP (HGB) with strong expertise in statutory reporting, multi-GAAP financial statements, and audit coordination. The ideal candidate will manage German entity reporting, IFRS-to-HGB reconciliations, and ensure statutory compliance within a multinational environment.
Key Responsibilities
German GAAP Financial Reporting
Prepare financial statements in accordance with German GAAP (HGB).
Perform IFRS to HGB reconciliations and statutory adjustments.
Ensure compliance with German statutory and regulatory requirements.
Audit & Compliance
Coordinate with external auditors
Prepare audit schedules, disclosures, and supporting documentation.
Ensure timely closure of audit observations.
Multi-GAAP & Global Reporting
Support financial reporting under IFRS and other local GAAPs.
Manage intercompany reconciliations across global entities.
Assist in group consolidation and statutory filings.
Accounting Operations & Controls
Lead month-end and year-end closing activities.
Perform balance sheet reconciliations and variance analysis.
Maintain strong internal controls and compliance frameworks.

Qualifications
M.Com / B.Com / CA Inter / ACCA / CMA (preferred)
2-5 years of accounting & statutory reporting experience
Experience handling German entities or European reporting

Big 4 audit coordination experience
Multi-country statutory reporting
