Role Description

We are looking for a full-time on-site role for a Geographic Information System (GIS) Specialist with AWD ( Alternate Wetting And Dying) knowledge. The position is based in Birbhum. But also open and flexible to travel in North Bengal and other places as and when required. The GIS Specialist will be responsible for managing geospatial data, analyzing geographic information using GIS tools, creating accurate maps, and working on data management processes. They will also support the development and maintenance of GIS databases and provide insights through spatial analysis to aid decision-making processes.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Geographic Information Systems (GIS) tools and managing geospatial data
• Strong skills in Data Management and handling geographic data sets
• Experience in creating and interpreting maps and spatial data visualizations
• Advanced Analytical Skills for spatial data analysis and problem-solving
• Good communication and team collaboration skills
• Knowledge of AWD and its application in GIS workflows
• Bachelor's degree in GIS, Geography, Environmental Science, Computer Science, or a related field
