Job Description :

The ESRI Web Developer will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining web applications using ESRI's ArcGIS platform. This role involves working with various web technologies to create interactive and user-friendly GIS applications.

Key Responsibilities:

Web Application Development: Design, develop, and maintain web applications using ESRI's ArcGIS API for JavaScript and other web technologies.

User Interface Design: Create intuitive and responsive user interfaces that enhance user experience.

Integration: Integrate GIS data and services into web applications, ensuring seamless functionality and performance.

Collaboration: Work closely with GIS analysts, developers, and other stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver solutions that meet business needs.

Testing and Debugging: Perform thorough testing and debugging of web applications to ensure high quality and performance.

Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for web applications, including design specifications, user guides, and technical manuals.

Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor's degree in computer science, IT, GIS, or a related field.

Experience: 4-9 years of experience in web development, with a focus on ESRI ArcGIS.

Technical Skills: Proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and ESRI's ArcGIS API for JavaScript. Experience with front-end frameworks (e.g., React, Typescript, Angular, Vue).

Certifications: Relevant certifications such as ESRI Technical Certification are preferred.

Soft Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with developing and deploying web applications in cloud environments.

Familiarity with RESTful APIs and web services.

Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools.

Knowledge of spatial data management and GIS concepts.
