Role & Responsibilities
- Build and optimize AI-first content and data pipelines to improve visibility across LLM platforms
- Design and implement Generative Engine Optimization (GEO) strategies (next-gen SEO for AI search)
- Work on prompt optimization, retrieval structuring, and semantic ranking for AI systems
- Collaborate with marketing and product teams to ensure content is AI-consumable and discoverable
- Optimize structured and unstructured data for LLM ingestion (RAG pipelines, embeddings, metadata tagging)
- Analyze how AI systems surface content and continuously improve ranking signals within AI outputs
- Experiment with AEO (Answer Engine Optimization) techniques for direct answer-based discovery
- Monitor performance using AI analytics tools and refine strategies based on user query patterns
Ideal Candidate
- Strong GEO / AI Search Optimization / AI-Driven SEO Profiles
- Mandatory (Experience 1): Must have 3+ years of experience in SEO,Tech seo with 1+ years of experience in GEO or Tech GEO (AI/ML Engineering)
- Mandatory (Experience 2): Must have deep hands-on experience in SEO, AEO (Answer Engine Optimization), or emerging GEO (Generative Engine Optimization), including content ranking, keyword/query optimization, or search visibility strategies
- Mandatory (Experience 3): Exposure to AI/LLM ecosystems such as ChatGPT, Google Gemini, or similar platforms, including understanding of how responses are generated and ranked
- Mandatory (Experience 4): Experience working on content optimization, structured data, metadata tagging, or semantic search systems to improve discoverability
- Mandatory (Skills 1): Strong understanding of SEO fundamentals and evolution towards GEO / AI Search Optimization
- Mandatory (Skills 2): Hands-on exposure to prompt engineering, embeddings, vector search, or RAG-based systems
- Mandatory (Skills 3): Ability to analyze user search/query behavior and optimize content accordingly for AI engines
- Mandatory (Skills 4): Understanding of content structuring for AI consumption (schema, context building, knowledge representation)
- Mandatory (Education): MBA in Marketing OR BE/BTech in IT / Information Science / AI / ML or related fields
- Mandatory (Company): Candidates from Digital-first companies, consumer tech, fintech, SaaS, or marketing agencies with strong exposure to search/content optimization
- Mandatory (Note): This is not a traditional SEO-only role. The client is looking for candidates who understand the shift from SEO → AEO → GEO, combining AI + content + search optimization
- Preferred (Skills): Experience with AI content tools, LLM APIs, or analytics platforms, exposure to growth marketing, performance marketing, or product-led growth, understanding of AI evaluation metrics and ranking signals
- Preferred (Colleges): Tier 2 / Tier 3 colleges with strong practical experience
