Description
The Duty Medical Officer (DMO) plays a crucial role in providing medical care and support in healthcare settings. This entry-level position is ideal for fresh medical graduates who are passionate about patient care and are looking to start their careers in the medical field.
Responsibilities
- Provide immediate medical care and treatment to patients in the hospital or clinic setting.
- Monitor and assess patients health conditions, including vital signs and medical history.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by senior medical staff.
- Assist in medical procedures and surgeries under supervision.
- Coordinate with nursing staff and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records and documentation.
- Participate in emergency response activities and provide first aid as necessary.
- Educate patients and their families on health management and disease prevention.
Skills and Qualifications
- MBBS degree from a recognized medical college.
- Valid medical license to practice in India.
- Strong clinical skills and ability to perform medical assessments.
