Role Description
We are seeking a full-time General Manager to oversee and manage the operations in PAN India. This hybrid role includes strategic planning, organizational leadership, operational oversight, and ensuring the execution of company objectives. Key responsibilities include managing day-to-day operations, team leadership, ensuring resource optimization, and achieving performance targets while maintaining compliance with company policies and standards. You will also play a pivotal role in driving growth, building strong client relationships, and identifying opportunities for continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute Pan-India sales and growth strategies for agricultural machinery.
Identify new market opportunities and drive revenue growth, profitability, and market expansion.
Build and manage a strong dealer and distributor network across India.
Monitor sales performance, targets, pricing, promotions, and market share.
Ensure dealer profitability, product availability, and efficient distribution.
Oversee after-sales service operations and spare parts availability to maintain high customer satisfaction.
Coordinate with manufacturing, supply chain, and logistics for smooth operations.
Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer requirements to support product and pricing strategies.
Lead and develop regional sales and operations teams, fostering a high-performance culture.
Manage sales budgets, forecasts, and profitability, while controlling costs and reporting business performance to senior management.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Agricultural Engineering / Mechanical Engineering / Business Administration.
MBA in Sales, Marketing, or Agribusiness preferred
Experience
15–20 years of experience in Agricultural Machinery / Farm Equipment / Tractor / Harvester / Thresher / Implements Industry
Minimum 10–15 years in leadership or senior management role
Experience handling Pan India sales operations
