Role Summary
The Delivery Manager will lead end‑to‑end delivery of a global SAP S/4HANA implementation and multi‑wave rollout program. This role is accountable for program execution, stakeholder alignment, and business outcomes, ensuring predictable delivery, quality, and value realization. Strong hands‑on experience delivering large SAP S/4 programs and prior exposure to the manufacturing domain are critical for success.
Key Responsibilities
Program & Delivery Leadership
- Lead delivery of large‑scale, global SAP S/4HANA implementation and rollout programs across multiple business units
- Own overall delivery governance covering scope, schedule, cost, quality, risks, and dependencies
- Drive integrated planning across workstreams including Finance, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Quality, and Integrations
- Ensure adherence to SAP best practices, clean‑core principles, and enterprise architecture standards
Stakeholder Management & Communication
- Act as the primary delivery interface for senior business stakeholders, IT leadership, system integrators, and SAP
- Translate business objectives into executable delivery plans and measurable outcomes
- Proactively manage stakeholder expectations, escalations, and decision forums (SteerCos, Design Authorities, PMOs)
- Enable transparent, executive‑level reporting on program health, risks, and value realization
Hands‑On SAP S/4 Delivery Experience
- Provide hands‑on leadership across key phases: Explore, Realize, Deploy, Hypercare, and Rollout waves
- Guide teams through complex SAP S/4 topics such as data migration, integrations, testing strategy, and cutover
- Ensure fit‑to‑standard adoption while balancing manufacturing‑specific business requirements
- Drive defect management, stabilization, and readiness for business go‑live
Manufacturing Domain Enablement (Preferred)
- Leverage prior experience in discreate manufacturing environments.
- Understand end‑to‑end manufacturing processes including Plan‑to‑Produce, Make‑to‑Stock/Order, Quality, and Plant Maintenance
- Ensure shop‑floor, MES, and supply‑chain integrations are aligned with S/4 design and operational needs
Vendor & Team Management
- Manage global, delivery teams spread across multiple geographies
- Drive performance through clear accountability, milestones, and outcome‑based metrics
- Foster a collaborative, high‑performing delivery culture across onshore/offshore teams
Required
Key Skills & Experience
- 12+ years of experience delivering large enterprise ERP programs, with significant SAP S/4HANA exposure
- Proven track record as a Delivery Manager or Program Manager on global SAP S/4 implementation and rollout programs
- Strong experience in stakeholder management at senior executive level
- Hands‑on understanding of SAP S/4 delivery mechanics (data migration, testing, cutover, hypercare, rollouts)
- Strong governance, financial management, and risk management capabilities
Preferred
- Prior experience working in the manufacturing domain
- Exposure to global template build and multi‑country rollouts
Familiarity with agile or hybrid delivery models for SAP programs
