Designation: General Manager Sales
Job Responsibilities
We are seeking a high-performing and visionary Project Sales Head to lead our Project Sales Operations across Andhra Pradesh & Telangana for TATA Tiscon & TATA Wiron LRPC.
Sales Strategy & Business Development
- Drive end-to-end project sales operations for TATA Tiscon & TATA Wiron LRPC across AP & Telangana.
- Build a strong project pipeline in infrastructure, real estate, industrial, and government projects.
- Formulate annual/quarterly sales plans aligned with Tata Steel's positioning and Samrat Group's growth vision.
- Achieve sales volume, revenue, and profitability targets consistently.
Stakeholder & Relationship Management
- Develop and maintain relationships with contractors, EPC companies, consultants, government bodies, and developers.
- Influence decision-makers to secure specifications and approvals for TATA Tiscon & Wiron LRPC in large projects.
- Coordinate with dealers/distributors to ensure smooth execution and channel synergy.
Market Intelligence & Competitive Analysis
- Track competitor movements, pricing trends, and upcoming tenders/projects.
- Provide accurate forecasts and actionable market insights to senior management.
- Identify new business segments for expansion.
Operational Excellence & Reporting
- Oversee sales operations, delivery timelines, and project execution.
- Ensure effective use of CRM systems, MIS reports, and dashboards for performance tracking.
- Align with PPC, SCM, and warehouse operations for timely order fulfilment.
Team Leadership & Execution
- Guide regional/project sales teams towards high performance.
- Set clear performance metrics and drive accountability.
- Inspire and lead a sales team spread across AP & Telangana with focus on ownership and results.
- Mentor team members for career growth, skill enhancement, and alignment to organizational goals.
- Foster a performance-driven, ethical, and customer-first culture.
Communication & Collaboration
- Effectively communicate with internal teams (supply chain, PPC, accounts, dealers) to resolve issues and ensure smooth operations.
- Represent the company in client meetings, government forums, industry associations, and Tata Steel events.
- Maintain transparent reporting and alignment with top management.
Strategic Thinking & Problem Solving
- Anticipate risks in project sales, pricing, or execution and proactively develop solutions.
- Innovate in go-to-market approaches, digital adoption, and customer engagement models.

- Minimum 1015 years of experience in B2B/project sales within building materials, construction steel, infrastructure, or related sectors.

- Deep understanding of TMT bars, prestressed strands, and project supply dynamics.
- Proven ability to win large-scale project orders and manage complex stakeholder ecosystems.
- Strong strategic planning and forecasting capability, with analytical acumen.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Familiarity with dealer-led distribution and digital supply chain systems (ERP, supply visibility tools).
- Flexible travel across AP & Telangana, and potentially beyond.
