Purpose
To lead the financial reporting for the group, enhancing internal financial controls, improve the quality and timeliness of reporting and build a scalable and best-in-class reporting mechanism. The role also includes leading a team and support continuous improvement initiatives with high degree of agility to cope up with additional requirements emerging from the fast pace of growth.

Job Responsibilities / Deliverables
Financial reporting: Excellent domain knowledge and application of IND-AS and hands-on experience in closure of quarterly and annual audit of standalone and consolidated financial results. Establish and ensure adherence with IND-AS requirements, and compliance with the Company's accounting policies and related procedures. Should have exposure of working with Big4 as auditors in past.
Treasury: Responsible for managing cashflows and overall fund management. Liasoning with bankers on regular basis, responsible for hedging and deployment of surplus funds.
Internal Controls: Responsible for evolving & ensuring adequate internal financial controls. Proactively identify deviations and establish action plans to take corrective actions when required (key indicators).
Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team. Allocate responsibilities, guide their professional development, and ensure timely and quality deliverables from the team. Groom, coach and mentor team and create a strong second in line.
Qualifications & Pre-Requisites
Seasoned & qualified CA with 10+ years experience across financial accounting, treasury, SAP (FICO, MM), process & technology savvy orientation.
Combination of good intellectual and analytical capability with a process-oriented approach.
Strong communication skills, leadership, cultural empathy.
Strong knowledge of applicable laws and procedures.
Additional Notes
Experience in listed entities and having prior experience of listing would be preferred.
Look out for candidates at middle or senior order in Finance from Torrent Pharma, Concord Biotech, Mankind Pharma Ltd, Dr. Reddy's, Cipla, Piramal Pharma, though choice need not be restricted to Pharma good candidate from Manufacturing sector, preferably FMCG, etc is equally preferred.
