Job Description

  • Oversee and manage day-to-day logistics operations in the shipping freight sector.
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies.
  • Coordinate and optimise transport and distribution processes to enhance efficiency.
  • Monitor performance metrics to identify improvement opportunities.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align operational goals.
  • Manage and resolve operational challenges effectively and efficiently.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction through timely and accurate delivery services.
  • Provide regular reports on operational performance to senior management.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Area Operations Manager should have:

  • A strong background in logistics, particularly within the transport and distribution industry.
  • In-depth knowledge of shipping freight operations and best practices.
  • Proven ability to manage and optimise logistics processes effectively.
