About the Role

The General Manager Events will drive the development and execution of high-impact conferences, industry summits, and exhibitions focused on circular economy, sustainability, technology, and emerging global markets. The role will work closely with government bodies, industry leaders, and global partners to create platforms that drive policy dialogue, innovation, and business growth.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the overall events business strategy and revenue growth

Recruit, train, and manage teams across conference production, sponsorship sales, marketing, and Operations

Develop and deliver government and private sector conferences, policy forums, and global summits

Build strategic relationships with ministries, industry leaders, and international organizations

Drive sponsorship, partnerships, exhibition sales, and delegate participation

Ensure high-quality event execution, stakeholder engagement, and brand positioning

Ideal Candidate

05years of minimun experience in conferences, exhibitions, or large-scale events

Strong experience in team building, sponsorship sales, and conference production

Proven ability to work with government stakeholders and industry leaders

Strategic thinker with strong revenue and partnership mindset

Entrepreneurial mindset with ability to build and scale platforms
