General Manager - Mumbai
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced General Manager to join our team in Mumbai. As the General Manager, you will be responsible for establishing and managing our company's operations in India, with a focus on IT consultancy and web development services. Your primary duties will include overseeing the company's registration, GST compliance, office setup, staff recruitment, and day-to-day office management. Additionally, you will play a key role in delivering services to our European clients and ensuring the successful growth of our business in the Indian market.
Responsibilities
- Lead the establishment of the company in India, including registration, GST compliance, and other legal requirements.
- Identify and secure an office space that meets the company's operational needs and budget.
- Recruit, onboard, and manage a team of skilled professionals to support the company's operations.
- Oversee day-to-day office management, including administrative tasks, facilities, and vendor management.
- Collaborate with the European team to deliver high-quality IT consultancy and web development services to our clients.
- Develop and implement strategies to drive business growth and expand our client base in India.
Requirements
Proven experience in a managerial role, preferably in the IT consultancy or web development industry.
- Strong understanding of Indian business regulations, including company registration and GST compliance.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively and collaborate with international teams and clients.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
- Bachelor's degree in business, management, or a related field. A master's degree is a plus.
- Familiarity with the European market and business practices is desirable.
