Key Responsibilities:
Business Growth & Revenue Ownership
- Drive acquiring business growth across targeted industry verticals including Financial Services (NBFC, HFC, Microfinance), Jewelry (Lab-grown diamonds, mid and large jewelers), Platform Monetization (Shopify, Wix, Zoho, Tally), and Healthcare (Fertility, specialty clinics, cosmetic elective procedures).
- Own and deliver billing targets in terms of gross revenue while ensuring positive net revenue contribution.
- Develop and execute strategic account plans to expand merchant base and increase transaction volumes.
Lead Generation & Networking
- Self-source leads through personal industry networks and references from existing merchants.
- Build and nurture strong relationships with key decision-makers across sectors.
- Leverage social media platforms to strengthen personal and organizational brand presence to attract potential merchants.
Strategic Partnerships & Negotiation
- Lead negotiations with large and mid-sized merchants to close high-value acquiring deals.
- Structure commercial agreements aligned with organizational profitability goals.
- Identify new partnership opportunities within selected industry segments.
Stakeholder & Project Management
- Coordinate with internal support functions including Risk, Operations, Compliance, and Technology to ensure smooth onboarding and service delivery.
- Oversee implementation timelines and ensure seamless merchant activation.
- Monitor portfolio performance and implement corrective strategies where required.
Market Expansion & Travel
- Travel across Tier-1 and Tier-2 cities to identify untapped market opportunities.
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis to refine go-to-market strategies.
