Job Title: General Manager - Industrial Automation

Job Summary

Looking for a results-driven Industrial Automation Sales Engineer with strong experience in selling PLC, HMI, Servo, and VFD systems. The role involves managing key accounts, developing new business, providing technical solutions, and achieving assigned sales targets across industrial segments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage sales for PLC, HMI, Servo Drives, VFDs, and Automation solutions
  • Identify new business opportunities and expand market presence in assigned territory
  • Handle OEMs, System Integrators, Panel Builders, and End Users
  • Understand customer applications and propose suitable automation solutions
  • Prepare techno-commercial offers, pricing, and negotiations
  • Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets
  • Coordinate with engineering, application, and service teams for project execution
  • Conduct product presentations, demos, and customer visits
  • Track leads, opportunities, and sales pipeline through CRM / internal reports
  • Monitor competitor activity and market trends
  • Ensure timely payment collection and outstanding follow-ups

Required Skills & Competencies

  • Strong knowledge of PLC, HMI, Servo Motors, VFDs, and industrial automation architecture
  • Proven track record in B2B / Project-based sales
  • Ability to understand industrial applications and provide value-based solutions
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
  • Strong relationship-building with customers and principals
  • Self-motivated, target-oriented, and proactive approach
  • Willingness to travel extensively within assigned region
