Job Description

Role Summary:

As the General Manager Growth, you will own the end-to-end revenue engine, driving scalable and profitable premium growth across acquisition, conversion, and retention. This role requires strong P&L ownership, disciplined experimentation, and building durable growth systems in a regulated insurance environment.

Expected Responsibilities:

  • Own revenue and targets with full accountability for CAC, LTV, payback, and contribution margins.
  • Define and execute the multi-channel growth strategy across performance marketing, partnerships, offline distribution, and emerging offline/online channels.
  • Optimize the full funnel from lead generation to policy issuance and renewals, improving conversion rates and reducing drop-offs.
  • Drive cross-functional alignment across Product, Underwriting, Sales, Operations, and Compliance to unlock scalable growth.
  • Ensure capital efficiency through revenue ownership, forecasting, and dynamic budget allocation
  • Establish a high-velocity experimentation culture across channels, pricing, packaging, and messaging.

Expected Skills:

  • Strong commercial acumen with a deep understanding of commission structures, insurer SLAs, payout models, and renewal economics.
  • Proven experience scaling marketplace or aggregator models where supply-demand balance and partner mix impact growth.
  • Advanced grasp of funnel economics, right from traffic acquisition to issued premium and renewal commissions.
  • Ability to optimize insurer partnerships based on approval ratios, turnaround times, and payout efficiency.
  • Data-driven forecasting skills, aligning marketing investments with partner capacity, and seasonal demand.
  • Strategic leadership in building durable growth systems across performance, partnerships, distribution, and retention.
