About the Role:
Reporting To: Vice President Finance
We are seeking a GeneralManager FP&A to lead budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and performance analysis for our hotel/hotel group. The role partners with operations, sales, revenue management, and corporate teams to improve profitability and support strategic decisions. The role is based in Chennai and reports into a VP Finance.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead budgeting, forecasting, and monthly financial reporting.
- Analyze ADR, RevPAR, occupancy, GOPPAR, flow-through, and departmental performance.
- Provide variance analysis and actionable insights to leadership.
- Build and maintain financial models, dashboards (Excel/Power BI/Tableau), and KPIs.
- Support rate strategy, channel mix, cost control, and productivity improvements.
- Partner with operational teams to optimize margins and spending.
- Prepare Board/corporate reports and support audits.
- Contribute to system implementations (PMS, POS, ERP, BI tools).
Strategic Finance
- Support capital expenditure priorities (capital allocation, liquidity planning).
- Assist with M&A (financial due diligence, valuation, synergy analysis, integration support).
Qualifications
- CA/CIMA/CPA preferred.
- 8+ years experience with 3+ years in FP&A/financial analysis.
- Strong understanding of hotel KPIs and systems (Opera/Protel, Micros, SAP/Oracle).
- Advanced Excel; Power BI/Tableau preferred.
- Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder-management skills.
