Job Summary

The General Manager

Facilities Management will be responsible for end-to-end management of all residential and commercial properties owned or managed by the company. This includes maintenance & facilities management, staffing, vendor oversight, compliances, managing electrical system, plumbing, fire installations, operational efficiency, tenant satisfaction, budgeting and maximizing asset value, etc.

This role is both strategic and hands-on, ensuring properties are well-maintained, compliant, cost-efficient and positioned for long-term value creation.

Key Responsibilities

Ensure smooth and uninterrupted operation of all properties

Maintain high asset uptime through effective preventive maintenance

Achieve high tenant satisfaction and retention through service excellence

Plan, control and optimize facility operating budgets and CAM costs

Manage and monitor vendors to ensure Service Level Agreements, safety and quality compliance

Ensure full statutory, regulatory and fire & safety compliance

Maintain high standards of hygiene, safety and property aesthetics

Lead, develop and retain an effective facilities management team

Team productivity and performance metrics

Drive asset value enhancement and lifecycle optimization initiatives

Provide timely MIS, reporting and operational insights to management

Property uptime & asset condition (minimal breakdowns, preventive maintenance adherence)

Cost optimization against approved facility budgets
