Job Description

  • Develop and execute debt fundraising strategies in alignment with the company's financial goals.
  • Identify and establish relationships with banks, financial institutions, and other lenders.
  • Prepare and present financial models, proposals, and reports to potential investors and stakeholders.
  • Oversee the negotiation and structuring of debt financing agreements.
  • Monitor and ensure compliance with financial covenants and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to assess funding needs and align strategies accordingly.
  • Provide insights and recommendations on improving the company's capital structure.
  • Track market trends and identify opportunities to optimise debt fundraising activities.

The Successful Applicant

A successful GM - Debt Fundraising should have:

  • CA/MBA Finance with 8-12 years of post-qualification experience
  • Proven experience in managing debt fundraising activities, preferably in the property or real estate industry.
  • Excellent knowledge of financial modelling and analysis.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and sustain relationships with financial institutions.
  • Strong negotiation and presentation skills.
  • Proficiency in financial regulations and compliance requirements.
  • Strategic thinking and problem-solving capabilities.
