Job Description

RAIN is seeking a GL-Manager to join its Global Shared Services Department.

Duties and Responsibilities:

KPI's:

  • Lead and manage end-to-end monthly, quarterly, and annual closing activities for the foreign subsidiary.
  • Ensure timely posting, review, and reconciliation of journals, accruals, provisions, and adjustments.
  • Monitor intercompany transactions, reconciliations, and settlements.
  • Review GL balances, conduct variance analysis, and ensure correctness and completeness of accounts.
  • Ensure all balance sheet reconciliations are prepared timely, accurately and in compliance with company guidelines
  • Ensures that accounting transactions are properly recorded, posted, processed, and reported to ensure accurate presentation of the balance sheet and income statement.
  • Ensure team members are trained to process any GL related activity
  • Ensures that files and documentation are maintained thoroughly and accurately, in accordance with company policy and accepted accounting practices.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for statutory auditors and internal auditors for the foreign subsidiary.
  • Other job duties as may be assigned.

Required Professional Expertise:

47 years of experience in accounting, controlling, and GL operations, preferably in a multinational environment.

Preferred Qualification:

  • Qualified CMA or CA

Must to have Skills:

  • Work experience in GL & FA process a must
  • Working knowledge in ERP (e.g. SAP, Oracle) FI-CO modules is a must
  • Opex and Capex accounting
  • Trail Balance ownership
  • Proficient in MS Office

Soft Skills:

  • Good communication skills both writing and verbal
  • Ability to work independently and lead the team in a fast-paced and high-volume environment with emphasis on accuracy and timeliness
  • Must be well organized and a self-starter

Good to have Skills

  • Working experience in Controlling module in ERP
  • Working Experience with Manufacturing Industry

Shift timing - UK shift (12.30 PM to 9.30 PM) and flexible to work (for month close) in US shift (5.30 PM to 2.30 AM).

Location : Hyderabad, Telangana, India.
