Job Summary:
We are seeking dynamic and experienced professionals for the position of Team Lead in Insurance
Operations. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5+ years of overall experience, with at least
2 years in a team handling role, preferably within General Insurance or Commercial Insurance
domains. This role demands strong leadership, process orientation, and stakeholder management
skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage a team of insurance professionals to meet operational targets and service level
agreements.
- Drive team performance through daily monitoring, coaching, and performance reviews.
- Ensure timely and accurate processing of insurance transactions related to General or Commercial
Insurance.
- Act as a point of escalation for complex issues and provide appropriate resolutions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and support process improvement initiatives.
- Prepare and analyze reports to monitor team metrics and productivity.
- Maintain high levels of quality and compliance with process and regulatory requirements.
- Coordinate shift planning, team allocation, and ensure coverage during night operations.Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Minimum 5+ years of overall experience, with 2+ years in a team handling capacity (mandatory).
- Strong domain knowledge and hands-on experience in General Insurance or Commercial
Insurance (mandatory).
- Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Comfortable working in night shifts.
- Ability to work independently in an Individual Contributor (IC) capacity while also managing a team.
- Strong stakeholder management and reporting skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in any discipline.
- Experience in BPO/KPO/Shared Services environments will be an added advantage.
