3 years of min. experience in Design and Analysis of Gear Box .
- Key Responsibilities:
- Design and analyze gearbox and transmission systems using Transmission3D software (ANSOL).
- Perform gear calculations including strength, durability, efficiency, and life estimation.
- Conduct detailed analysis of gear geometry, contact stress, bending stress, and lubrication.
- Develop and optimize gearbox designs based on project requirements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including manufacturing, quality, and testing.
- Support prototype development, validation, and testing activities.
- Troubleshoot and improve existing gearbox designs.
- Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in mechanical design of gearboxes/transmissions.
- Hands-on experience in design and analysis using Transmission3D (analysis software provided by ANSOL).
- Strong understanding of gear design principles and mechanical systems.
- Experience with CAD tools such as SolidWorks, CATIA, or Creo.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in aerospace product design is preferred.
- Knowledge of NVH (Noise, Vibration, Harshness) analysis.
- Experience with FEA tools is an advantage.
