GCP QA Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts for applications and data pipelines on GCP.
• Validate data ingestion, processing, and transformation across BigQuery, Cloud Storage, Dataflow, Pub/Sub, and GKE.
• Perform functional, integration, regression, system, and UAT testing for cloud-based solutions.
• Design and maintain automated test frameworks using Python, PyTest, Selenium, or API testing tools.
• Validate REST APIs and microservices for performance, security, and reliability.
• Execute data validation and reconciliation using SQL on BigQuery and other data stores.
• Collaborate with data engineers, developers, DevOps, and business stakeholders to ensure requirements are met.
• Log, track, and manage defects using JIRA, ensuring timely resolution and retesting.
• Conduct performance, load, and security testing where applicable.
