Monitoring & logging (Cloud Monitoring / Logging)

Cost optimization & performance tuning experience

CI/CD exposure with GCP workloads

GCP / Kubernetes / Terraform certifications

Primary Key Skills:

GCP core administration (provisioning/config/admin of compute, storage, etc.)

GKE / Kubernetes orchestration (setup, upgrades, scaling, HA, RBAC/security policies)

Cloud Networking & Security (VPCs, subnets, routing, firewall rules, load balancers; IAM roles, service accounts, VPC Service Controls)

Infrastructure Automation / IaC (Terraform or GCP Deployment Manager; CI/CD integration)

Monitoring/Logging + Incident Response (Cloud Monitoring/Logging; alerting; RCA/postmortems)

Mandatory project items: Landing Zone, Backup/Restore, Cloud VPN, Netscaler LB

Secondary (Supporting) Skills:

Performance tuning & cost optimization (autoscaling policies, compute sizing, spend optimization)

Documentation & standards (SOPs, runbooks, network diagrams, operational standards)

Leadership & collaboration (mentor juniors, technical direction, cross-team alignment)

Certifications (nice to have): GCP PCA / DevOps Engineer, CKA/CKAD, Terraform Associate
