GCP Devops Engineer

Google Cloud DevOps Engineer (SecOps)

The Google Cloud DevOps engineer will be focusing primarily on the Google Cloud space to

build and automate a new multi-tenant Managed Detection & Response (MDR) service. This

engineer will primarily utilize the Azure DevOps toolset to orchestrate deployments and will

need to become highly proficient with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services, Google Security

Operations (SecOps), and multi-cloud architecture.

Required Skills :

Ability to configure, automate, and deploy cloud services using Infrastructure-as-Code.

Specific experience with Terraform is mandatory.

Strong understanding of DevOps practices including CI/CD, Pipelines (YAML),

Configuration Management, IaC/Terraform, and GIT.

Experience working in the Azure DevOps framework (Pipelines, Boards, Repos, Agent

Pools) to deploy resources to other cloud platforms (GCP, AWS).

Strong understanding of cloud identity concepts, including Workforce Identity Federation,

SAML, and common cloud authentication patterns.

Strong PowerShell experience. Python experience is a strong bonus, especially for

interacting with REST APIs.

Ability to learn and script against new, specialized REST APIs for platform automation

(e.g., Google's Customer Management API, Feed Management API).

Experience integrating monitoring and logging solutions in a cloud environment.

Strong understanding of Cloud Security and Networking Concepts and practices (e.g.,

IAM, VPCs, firewall rules, service accounts).

Database, Windows, Linux experience a plus.

Qualifications :

Bachelor's degree in Information Technology discipline or equivalent work experience.

5+ years of experience working in a Cloud-based engineering/DevOps role.

3+ years of experience working in an enterprise-scale DevOps role with a focus on

automation and Infrastructure-as-Code.

(Preferred) Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) is a significant advantage.
