Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated GCP DevOps Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Kubernetes, and Docker. This role involves working closely with our development and operations teams to ensure seamless integration and deployment of applications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines on GCP.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration, and deployment using tools like Terraform and Ansible.
- Manage and optimize Kubernetes clusters for high availability and scalability.
- Containerize applications using Docker and manage container orchestration.
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure system reliability and security.
- Collaborate with development teams to ensure smooth and reliable operation of software and systems.
- Implement and manage logging, monitoring, and alerting solutions.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends and best practices in DevOps and cloud technologies.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer with a focus on GCP.
- Strong expertise in Kubernetes and Docker.
- Experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools such as Terraform and Ansible.
- Proficiency in scripting languages like Python, Bash, or Go.
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or CircleCI.
- Knowledge of networking, security, and database management.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- GCP Professional DevOps Engineer certification.
- Experience with other cloud platforms like AWS or Azure.
- Knowledge of microservices architecture and serverless computing.
- Experience with monitoring tools like Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK stack.
