Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and operate GKE clusters for Spring Boot services
  • Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines (build, test, deploy)
  • Implement secrets management using GCP Secret Manager
  • Configure monitoring, logging, and alerting (Cloud Monitoring, structured logs)
  • Support autoscaling, rolling deployments, and zero-downtime releases
  • Partner with engineering teams on performance testing and capacity planning

Required Skills & Experience

  • Strong hands-on experience with GKE / Kubernetes
  • CI/CD experience with GitHub Actions or Cloud Build
  • Docker containerization and deployment strategies
  • Experience with GCP networking, IAM, and security best practices
  • Strong operational mindset with incident response and debugging skills

Nice to Have

  • Helm charts and environment templating
  • Distributed tracing and observability tooling
  • Experience supporting high-traffic, consumer-facing platforms
