Description
We are seeking a skilled GCP Data Engineer to join our team in India. The ideal candidate will have 5-11 years of experience in designing and implementing data solutions on Google Cloud Platform.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines in Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- Develop ETL processes to extract, transform, and load data from various sources into GCP.
- Optimize data storage and processing for performance and cost-efficiency.
- Collaborate with data analysts and data scientists to understand data requirements and provide solutions.
- Ensure data quality and integrity through rigorous testing and validation processes.
- Monitor and troubleshoot data pipeline performance issues.
- Implement data security and compliance measures in line with organizational policies.
Skills and Qualifications
- 5-11 years of experience in data engineering or a related field.
- Strong proficiency in Google Cloud Platform services such as BigQuery, Cloud Storage, Dataflow, and Pub/Sub.
- Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python
- Hands-on experience with data modeling and data warehousing concepts.
