This role is for an on-site engineering team in India focused on designing, automating and operating scalable GCP environments.

Role & Responsibilities
- Design and implement secure, resilient GCP architectures (VPC, subnets, IAM, networking, hybrid connectivity) for production workloads.
- Author and maintain Infrastructure-as-Code using Terraform to provision GCP services, enforce modular patterns and manage state securely.
- Deploy and operate containerised applications on Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE); optimise pod scheduling, autoscaling and resource requests/limits.
- Build CI/CD pipelines and automated release flows for cloud-native applications using cloud build tools and GitOps practices.
- Implement monitoring, logging and alerting (Cloud Monitoring, Logging, SLO/SLA dashboards) and run incident response and post-incident reviews.
- Drive cost, performance and security optimisation initiatives—rightsizing, resource quotas, IAM hardening and automated policy enforcement.
