Critical Qualifications
Demonstrable, extensive hands-on experience architecture and managing complex production environments within the Google Cloud Platform console and its associated services.
Proven expertise in implementing comprehensive Security & Governance strategies on GCP, including Identity and Access Management (IAM), VPC Service Controls, Security Command Center, and data protection mechanisms.
Deep understanding and practical application of cloud cost Optimization techniques, including resource utilization analysis, auto-scaling configurations, and implementing FinOps principles.
A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a closely related technical discipline is strictly required.
Possession of at least one current, relevant Google Cloud Professional certification, such as Professional Cloud Architect or Professional Cloud Security Engineer, is mandatory.
A minimum of seven years of progressive experience in IT infrastructure, with at least four years specifically focused on designing, implementing, and managing cloud-native solutions on GCP.
Proficiency with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools like Terraform or Cloud Deployment Manager for automated provisioning and configuration management.
Strong command of containerization technologies and orchestration frameworks, particularly Docker and Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE).
In-depth knowledge of networking concepts within GCP, including Virtual Private Cloud (VPC) networks, subnets, firewalls, load balancing, and Cloud DNS.
Solid understanding of database solutions on GCP, encompassing Cloud SQL, Cloud Spanner, BigQuery, Big-table, and managed PostgreSQL/MySQL services, along with data migration strategies.
