Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Google Cloud Platform (GCP) Architect to design, implement, and optimize scalable cloud solutions on GCP. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in cloud architecture, migration, automation, security, networking, and DevOps practices. The role involves collaborating with infrastructure, application, security, and business teams to deliver enterprise-grade cloud solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Cloud Architecture & Design
- Design scalable, secure, and highly available cloud architectures on GCP.
- Define cloud adoption frameworks, governance models, and best practices.
- Lead cloud transformation and migration initiatives from on-premises or other cloud platforms to GCP.
- Develop multi-region and disaster recovery architectures.
Infrastructure & Automation
- Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform or Deployment Manager.
- Automate provisioning, deployment, monitoring, and scaling processes.
- Build CI/CD pipelines using cloud-native and DevOps tools.
Security & Compliance
- Implement cloud security controls, IAM policies, encryption, and network security.
- Ensure compliance with enterprise security standards and governance requirements.
- Conduct architecture reviews and risk assessments.
Platform Engineering & Operations
- Optimize cloud performance, availability, reliability, and cost management.
- Troubleshoot complex cloud infrastructure and application issues.
- Monitor cloud environments using native and third-party monitoring tools.
Stakeholder Management
- Work closely with business, development, infrastructure, and security teams.
- Provide technical leadership and mentoring to engineering teams.
- Prepare technical documentation, architecture diagrams, and solution blueprints.
