GCP Architect

Technical skills:

• 5+ years of experience in cloud architecture and infrastructure design.
• 3+ years of hands-on experience specifically with GCP (Google Cloud Platform).
• Deep understanding of core GCP services: Compute Engine, GKE, Cloud Run, Cloud Functions, Cloud Storage, Big Query, Pub/Sub, Cloud Spanner, etc.
• Strong knowledge of cloud networking (VPC, Cloud NAT, VPNs, Interconnect), IAM, and security best practices.
• Experience with IaC (Terraform, Deployment Manager), CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, Cloud Build).
• Knowledge of data engineering pipelines on GCP (Dataflow, Dataproc, BigQuery).
• Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Google Professional Cloud Architect (Highly Preferred)
• Experience with hybrid and multi-cloud environments (ORACLE CLOUD, AWS, Azure).
• Familiarity with compliance frameworks (HIPAA, SOC 2, GDPR, etc.)
• Google Professional Cloud Security Engineer Certification
• Google Professional DevOps Engineer Certification
• Familiarity with F&A domain data and logistics

Responsibility from the Role:

Cloud Architecture & Design

• Design highly available, secure, and scalable cloud-native architectures using GCP services.
• Create end-to-end architecture blueprints and detailed documentation for cloud solutions.
• Evaluate and recommend appropriate GCP services and tools to meet business and technical requirements.

Implementation & Delivery

• Lead implementation of cloud solutions, including migration of on-premises workloads to GCP.
• Collaborate with developers, DevOps, security, and data engineering teams to deliver end-to-end solutions.
• Guide infrastructure automation using Terraform, Deployment Manager, or equivalent tools.

Cloud Networking & Security

• Architect network design including VPCs, subnets, Cloud VPN, Cloud Interconnect, and Cloud Load Balancers.
• Define and enforce GCP IAM policies, security controls, firewall rules, and encryption strategies.
• Implement best practices for cost management, compliance, and operational efficiency.

DevOps & Automation

• Drive CI/CD automation for infrastructure and application deployments.
• Implement observability tools such as Stackdriver, Prometheus, Grafana, etc.
• Enable containerized deployments using Cloud Run or GKE (Google Kubernetes Engine).
