Gastroenterologists diagnose, treat and work to prevent gastrointestinal (stomach and intestines) and hepatological (liver, gallbladder, biliary tree and pancreas) diseases. The gastroenterologists are expected to perform upper gastrointestinal (GI) examinations and other procedures like flexible sigmoidoscopy and colonoscopy.
Eligibility
- The students must have to complete their MBBS degree with 50% aggregate from recognised university
- The students must qualify NEET PG Exam to join MD General Medicine/ Paediatrics
- The students have to qualify DM in Medical Gastroenterology after completing the MD General Medicine/ Paediatrics
- The Student must qualify NEET SS Exam to join DM in Medical Gastroenterology
