Job Summary
We are looking for a talented and self-driven PHP Developer with 2-3 years of experience, preferably with hands-on expertise in the CodeIgniter framework. The ideal candidate will be involved in developing robust, scalable, and high-performance web applications. You will work closely with senior developers and cross-functional teams to deliver solutions that meet business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, test, and maintain web applications using PHP and CodeIgniter.
- Collaborate with UI/UX designers and frontend developers to integrate user-facing elements.
- Write clean, well-documented, and maintainable code.
- Create and consume RESTful APIs.
- Work with Postgresql to design and optimize database queries.
- Participate in code reviews, unit testing, and bug fixing.
- Assist in requirements analysis and project planning discussions.
- Maintain source code using Git and follow version control best practices.
- Stay updated on the latest industry trends and technologies.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in PHP and strong working experience in CodeIgniter (v3/v4).
- Solid understanding of OOP, MVC architecture, and RESTful APIs.
- Experience with MySQL, including writing complex queries and joins.
- Frontend basics : HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, AJAX.
- Familiarity with Git and basic version control workflows.
- Good debugging and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a team.
Preferred Skills (Good To Have)
- Basic understanding of API security and authentication (JWT/OAuth).
- Familiarity with basic DevOps workflows.
- Experience in working with third-party APIs (e.g., payment gateways, SMS/email services).
