We're hiring a Game Data Analyst who will own ad revenue performance and LiveOps analytics across our growing portfolio. This isn't a reporting role - you'll connect data to decisions, working
directly with PMs, game designers, and leadership to drive measurable outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
Ad Revenue & Monetization Analytics
• Own end-to-end analytics for ad revenue performance - eCPM, fill rate, ARPDAU, and network-level breakdowns across the portfolio
• Identify monetization bottlenecks and surface actionable recommendations to the Head of Monetization and PMs - not just data dumps
• Analyse in-game economy metrics - inflation, churn triggers, progression pacing, currency sinks and collaborate with designers to rebalance
• Model the revenue impact of LiveOps events, IAP pricing changes, and ad placement experiments before and after rollout
Liveops & Retention Analytics
• Track and interpret core retention metrics (D1, D7, D30), session behavior, and funnel drop-off across live games
• Design, run, and read A/B tests - from hypothesis to statistical significance to shipping decision
• Build dashboards that give PMs and designers a clear daily view of game health without needing to ask you every time
• Proactively flag anomalies: retention drops, ARPU shifts, or unusual player behavior before they become problems
KPI Ownership & Stakeholder Reporting
• Define and maintain the canonical KPI framework across all games — in collaboration with PMs and leadership
• Deliver weekly and monthly performance reports that go beyond numbers: what happened, why, and what to do next
• Be the bridge between raw data and product decisions — translate complex analysis into clear, opinionated recommendations
• Track marketing performance in coordination with the UA team — CAC, LTV, ROAS by channel and geography
Analytics Infrastructure
• Work with the tech team on event tracking for new features — you define what gets tracked, engineers implement it
• Maintain and improve analytics dashboards across Dev ToDev and supplementary tools
• Champion data literacy across the product team — help PMs become more self-sufficient over time
Requirements
• Bachelor's in Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Computer Science, or Engineering
• 2+ years in gaming analytics; at least 1 year supporting live-ops games
• Strong SQL skills (MySQL preferred) — complex queries, independently
• Solid grasp of A/B testing, cohort analysis, and distribution methods
• Experience with Tableau, Power BI, Looker, or similar tools
• Able to present findings to non-technical stakeholders clearly
