Role Overview
Arcedior is looking for an experienced Operations Manager who can build strong systems, streamline processes, and ensure smooth functioning across departments. The ideal candidate will focus on identifying operational gaps, building structured workflows, and implementing scalable systems that improve efficiency and accountability across the organization.
The role requires someone who can bring structure to fast-moving operations and ensure seamless coordination between procurement, sales, project management, and logistics teams.
1. System Building & Process Development
- Build and implement structured operational systems for all departments including procurement, sales, and project execution.
- Develop SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures) for key business processes.
- Identify gaps in current workflows and implement efficient solutions.
- Establish clear reporting structures and accountability frameworks.
- Introduce systems to track productivity, project progress, and operational bottlenecks.
2. Operational Efficiency & Workflow Management
- Ensure smooth day-to-day operations across all departments.
- Coordinate between teams to eliminate delays in procurement, approvals, and project execution.
- Monitor ongoing projects and ensure operational timelines are maintained.
- Reduce operational inefficiencies and unnecessary dependencies.
3. Inter-Department Coordination
- Work closely with Sales, Procurement, Project Management, and Finance teams.
- Ensure smooth communication between departments to avoid operational delays.
- Create structured communication channels to streamline information flow.
4. Process Automation & Tools Implementation
- Identify opportunities to introduce automation tools, dashboards, and project management systems.
- Implement systems for tracking:
- Project timelines
- Procurement progress
- Vendor coordination
- Sales pipeline handover to project teams
- Ensure teams adopt these systems effectively.
5. Team Management & Accountability
- Supervise operational staff and ensure responsibilities are clearly defined.
- Monitor team performance and ensure operational targets are met.
- Establish a culture of ownership, discipline, and efficiency.
