Responsibilities
- Collaborate with clients to understand their furniture needs and design preferences.
- Create detailed sketches and 3D models of furniture designs using design software.
- Select appropriate materials and finishes for each design project.
- Ensure that all designs meet safety and durability standards.
- Present design concepts and prototypes to clients and stakeholders for approval.
- Stay updated on current trends in furniture design and sustainability practices.
Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Furniture Design, Industrial Design, or a related field.
- 2-3 years of experience in furniture design or a similar role.
- Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, or SolidWorks.
- Strong understanding of materials, manufacturing processes, and construction techniques.
- Excellent creativity and artistic skills, with a keen eye for detail.
- Strong communication and presentation skills to effectively convey ideas.
