Furniture Designer

We are seeking a talented Furniture Designer to join our team in India. The ideal candidate will have 2-3 years of experience in creating innovative and functional furniture designs that meet the needs of our clients. This role requires a blend of creativity, technical skills, and an understanding of materials to produce high-quality designs.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with clients to understand their furniture needs and design preferences.
• Create detailed sketches and 3D models of furniture designs using design software.
• Select appropriate materials and finishes for each design project.
• Ensure that all designs meet safety and durability standards.
• Present design concepts and prototypes to clients and stakeholders for approval.
• Stay updated on current trends in furniture design and sustainability practices.

Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Furniture Design, Industrial Design, or a related field.
• 2-3 years of experience in furniture design or a similar role.
• Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, or SolidWorks.
• Strong understanding of materials, manufacturing processes, and construction techniques.
• Excellent creativity and artistic skills, with a keen eye for detail.
• Strong communication and presentation skills to effectively convey ideas.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple projects.
