About the Role:
We are seeking a bright, enthusiastic, and experienced Furniture Design Manager with strong leadership qualities to head our design team through an exciting growth phase in India and global markets. The ideal candidate will bring both creative and strategic vision to the team, ensuring that our designs continue to set benchmarks in craftsmanship, innovation, and luxury.
Candidates with a background in product, furniture, interior design, or architecture are welcome to apply. Experience working with leather furniture and accessories or serving high-end luxury/niche clients will be an added advantage.

Key Responsibilities:
Team Leadership & Management
- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of designers, ensuring creative and operational excellence.
- Assign tasks, monitor progress, and ensure timely completion of all deliverables.
- Foster a collaborative and growth-oriented team culture.
Design & Development
- Conceptualize, develop, and execute furniture designs across export, retail, and corporate verticals.
- Align design outputs with market trends, client expectations, and brand direction.
- Work proficiently with tools such as 3DS Max, Fusion, Rhino, Adobe Suite, and CorelDRAW.
Process & Planning
- Develop project plans with key milestones and oversee design timelines.
- Ensure smooth coordination for POs and ongoing design developments.
- Implement quarterly design strategies and continuously improve internal workflows.
Collaboration & Communication
- Coordinate closely with production, merchandising, and marketing teams to ensure seamless execution.
- Present ideas, concepts, and reports effectively to senior leadership.
Monitoring & Reporting
- Prepare monthly and quarterly reports on design progress and team performance.
- Maintain quality and timeline standards across all design projects.
Qualifications & Skills
- Degree or Diploma in Product Design, Furniture Design, Interior Design, or Accessory Design.
- Minimum 34 years of experience in the relevant industry.
- Proven track record of leading design teams and delivering results.
- Strong freehand sketching skills and proficiency in CorelDRAW, Photoshop, AutoCAD, 3DS Max, Rhino.
- Exceptional communication, planning, and problem-solving abilities.
- Creative thinker with a passion for innovation and design excellence.
