Job Overview This role is a blend of Interior Design and Furniture Design, offering an opportunity to work on carved luxury wooden furniture, bespoke interiors, and technical project execution. The ideal candidate must be creative, technically strong, and comfortable collaborating with clients and production teams.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare layout planning, space planning concepts, and design proposals.

Create detailed 2D and 3D drawings using AutoCAD, SketchUp, 3dsMax, etc.

Design customized wooden and carved furniture for domestic and international clients.

Prepare basic presentation sheets for client review.

Interact with customers to understand custom design requirements.

Coordinate on-site with carpenters or production teams to ensure accurate execution.

Modify and update drawings based on feedback and project needs.

Recommend materials, finishes, and woods (Sheesham, Teak, Mango, etc.).

Maintain design quality, aesthetics, and functionality across all projects.

Requirements

6 months to 1 year of experience in furniture or interior design (carved wooden furniture preferred).

Strong proficiency in: AutoCAD, Photoshop, SketchUp, 3ds Max

Knowledge of wood materials, finishes, and manufacturing processes.

On-site coordination experience with production/carpentry teams.

Excellent detailing, visualization, and communication skills.

Education Diploma/Degree in Furniture Design / Interior Design / Product Design / Architecture.
