Selected Intern's Day-to-day Responsibilities Include
- Design & visualization: Assist in creating sketches, mood boards, and detailed 3D models and renderings using CAD software.
- Technical documentation: Prepare detailed technical drawings, floor plans, and elevations for manufacturing or custom fabrication.
- Prototyping: Help build and test miniature or full-scale physical prototypes to evaluate comfort, aesthetics, and structural integrity.
- Material research: Research materials, finishes, fabrics, and hardware, often managing the company's material library.
- Production & vendor coordination: Collaborate with production teams and vendors to ensure designs are feasible and cost-effective.
- Project management: Assist in preparing cost breakdowns (BOQs), tracking project timelines, and attending site visits to monitor execution
