Job Description Fundraising Telecaller (NGO)

Position: Fundraising Telecaller

Department: Fundraising & Donor Relations

Location: Mumbai/ All over India

Reporting To: Fundraising Manager

Role Overview:

We are seeking motivated Telecallers to connect with potential and existing donors, explain our NGO's mission, and encourage contributions. The role requires strong communication, persuasion, and relationship-building skills.

Responsibilities:

Make outbound calls to donors/supporters to raise funds.

Explain NGO projects clearly and convincingly.

Maintain donor records and follow-up regularly.

Achieve daily/weekly/monthly fundraising targets.

Handle donor queries politely and professionally.

Requirements:

Minimum 10th pass /12th pass /Graduate (any stream).

Experience in telecalling/fundraising/sales preferred.

Excellent verbal communication in [English/Hindi/Regional Language].

Goal-oriented, persuasive, and empathetic.

Basic computer knowledge.

Work Conditions:

Full-time /(Office/Remote).

Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role in Mumbai for a Fundraising Telecaller (NGO). The Fundraising Telecaller will be responsible for reaching potential donors via phone to raise funds, communicating the mission and projects of the NGO, and explaining the impact of contributions. They will be expected to maintain accurate records of donor interactions, meet fundraising targets, and build positive relationships with donors to encourage ongoing support.

Qualifications

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with an ability to build donor relationships
• Basic knowledge of sales or fundraising techniques with persuasion and negotiation skills
• Normal in verbal communication in English or local languages
• Organizational skills and the ability to maintain accurate donor records
• Motivation to work in an NGO environment and contribute to social causes
• Prior experience in telecalling, customer service, or sales is a plus
